Under the motto "Test and Simulate SDC Devices", we present tools for the successful and efficient development of SDC devices. For example, interoperability can be tested in early development phases by simulating different SDC network participants.
Together with mature test concepts, we show how simulations and integration tests can be used during software development and how they can benefit later hardware-in-the-loop tests.
For those who take a closer look at our exhibit: We challenged ourselves and our tool chain to develop an electrocardiogram (ECG) device, for demonstration purposes only.
Our device transmits the patient’s heart rate and any alarms to a designated patient monitor via SDC. On site, we show how our tools helped us to ensure the quality and reliability of the device, enabling us to identify and address potential issues early in the development cycle.
